Lara Badanes
Hi there! I am happily married to my hubby of 2 years and we live in NC with our 2 kitties. I work for a bank as a department manager and in my spare time I'm a consultant for a on-stamping company. Shhh...I only discovered paper crafting in January and wow, once that addiction hits, you just can't stop! I've been altering various things for years and I am super excited to begin designing for Little Monkeys! (I do have a small thing for monkeys, I have to put them in the fake plants in my house...Hey where else would you find a monkey?) Seriously, though, this is a wonderful opportunity and I can't wait to see what all the other Design Monkeys come up with!!

Molly Peckham
I am a WAHM to two boys, Brendan, who is 7 and has Asperger's Syndrome, and Alexander, who is 5. We also have a daughter, Caitlynn, who is one. I am also a Navy wife, to an amazing husband, Paul, who is very supportive of my work at home career, scrapbooking.

I have been scrapbooking for 7 years and involved in the online aspect for over four years.

Besides that, I love to read, watch movies, cuddle with Paul, play with the kids, and help out as much as I can with Autism Research, as both of my boys have been diagnosed with some sort of spectrum of Autism.

I can't wait to start to work with all of the Design Monkeys and hopefully, also, I will be able to inspire you! :) And I also can't thank Susan and Laura enough for allowing me to come on board. :D

Ria Mojica
I'm Ria Mojica from the Philippines and I am excited to be a Design Monkey!

I have been married to my soul-mate, Buddy, for almost 9 years and have been a stay-at-home mom to 3 kids -- Luis, Nadya and Bianca, for the last 6 years. I have lived in the Philippines all my life, but have travelled to various countries in Asia, Europe and, of course, the US. We strongly believe in the educational value of travelling and we try to go to a new place with our kids every year.

Although I never thought of myself as creative, because I can't draw a straight line without a ruler, I've always been into crafts. But I never felt the rush until I discovered scrapbooking in 2003. Scrapbooking opened a whole new world to me -- new friends, new achievements, new goals, not to mention the shopping! I love that it allows me to have a creative outlet while recording my family's memories.

In the Philippines, I am part of a group called Scrappin' Moms and we hold our own Scrapfest and other events every year -- our goal is to build our local scrapbooking community. We also have an ezine, of which I am editor in chief.

I would describe my style as eclectic only because it varies quite a bit depending on my mood, the photos or the papers that I'm working with. I prefer to do LOs that are fun and happy, as my LOs are mostly of my kids. I love embellishments and trying out new tools and techniques. I like to think that, there's nothing I wouldn't try, as far as scrapbooking is concerned (unless I can't afford it).
